book 30!!!

Roller Girl


In the book Roller Girl by Victoria Jamieson it tells of a girl (Astrid) who loves Roller Derby
and is having friend issues. The friend she is having issues with name’s Nicole. Astrid thought
that she was going to sign up for roller derby camp but surprise she sings up for ballet camp.
Astrid can tell that this is going to be a hard summer. At roller derby camp Astrid meats a
new friend that is kind and helps Astrid dye her hair. In the end Astrid comes up with a
cool roller derby name and competes in her first bout.

books 28&29

In the book Fish In A Tree by Lynda Mullaly Hunt it describes a girl (Ally) that has dyslexia and is bullied by a girl that has to bring everybody down to her level (Which is very low). Ally has two friends Keasha and Albert they help her thru hard times. Ally’s dad is in the army and Ally only gets to talk to him one time in the span of the book. Her brother (Travis) is sort of an engineer also Travis also turns out to have dyslexia like his sister. Ally’s mom is very talkative and she has a special gift to make Ally feel better after a tough day. Ally is smart but misunderstood.  One time Shay said (even though Ally's presentation was good) that it was one of the books that she read in 2nd grade. This is true but Ally needed to read that particular book so she could do a good job. In the end of the book Ally learns out how to cope with her dyslexia.

Book 26

Matilda.
In the book Matilda by Roald Dahl it tells of a girl who is rejected by her parents because she likes reading instead of watching the telly. Matilda taught herself to read at the age of three. And at age four she could read fast and well. She read the only book in the house, Easy Cooking, it belonged to her mother. She goes to school and meets this lovely teacher, Miss Honey, with an odd backstory. Matilda goes to the library and checks out a lot of books, she read Great Expectations by Charles Dickens! Miss Honey helps Matilda in her education. Because of her families rude behavior Matilda thinks she has to make them pay. She does this by pretending there is a Ghost by stuffing a parrot up a chimney, and also by gluing a hat to her father’s head. Her family doesn’t know she is doing this. Miss Trunchbull, the principal of her school, is another mean person in Matilda’s life and blames Matilda for everything. At the end when Matilda’s family is running away because the government found out her dad, Mr. Wormwood was selling second hand cars for first-hand cars. Miss Trunchbull runs away and is never seen from again. Mrs. Honey finally adopts Matilda. Image result for matilda book

Danny the Champion of the World

In the book Danny the Champion of the World by Roald Dahl it tells of Danny’s adventure. When Danny was young his mother died and his dad did all the things that a mother would but this was hard because he owned a filling station. When Danny was 9 his father snuck out to go poaching and then he told Danny why. Danny said he would be ok with it if his dad told him ahead of time. The wood that Danny’s dad when to was Hazel's wood and Mr.Hazel was SUPER mean as he was rich. In the end Danny comes up with a super good plan to get all the pheasants out of Hazel’s wood and embarrass Mr. Hazel himself. It worked.

Book 24 People of Sparks

Image result for people of emberIn the book City of Ember, The People of Sparks it tells how the people of Ember got above ground. Another thing that happened was that the people of Ember are now in the town of Sparks. Lina and Doon are now not as close of friends as they used to be and how they are growing apart.  At the end of the pages Lina decided to go with Casper and Molly who are romers who are going to some mysterious place and it is very far away. Lina know that Mrs. Murdo and Poppy will miss her and she thinks she will be gone 2-3 days but I think she will take longer than that and I think she will come back and find out someone had died.
