Fish In A Tree
In the book Fish In A Tree by Lynda Mullaly Hunt it describes a girl (Ally) that has dyslexia and is bullied by a girl that has to bring everybody down to her level (Which is very low). Ally has two friends Keasha and Albert they help her thru hard times. Ally’s dad is in the army and Ally only gets to talk to him one time in the span of the book. Her brother (Travis) is sort of an engineer also Travis also turns out to have dyslexia like his sister. Ally’s mom is very talkative and she has a special gift to make Ally feel better after a tough day. Ally is smart but misunderstood. One time Shay said (even though Ally's presentation was good) that it was one of the books that she read in 2nd grade. This is true but Ally needed to read that particular book so she could do a good job. In the end of the book Ally learns out how to cope with her dyslexia.
