In the book Out of My Mind by Sharon Draper describes this story in an amazing way.
Melody wants to be able to move, talk, write, and speak her mind, but Melody has a
disability where she can’t do any of these things. Melody tries to solve the problem
by listening to her teacher and trying control her movements. When Melody’s teachers
open up their classrooms to the kids in H-5 she meets a girl named Rose. In Music
Melody is bullied and then accepted by Rose. Melody tries to solve the problem again
by when she asks Rose to go to the aquarium she accepts and when the mean girls come
Rose sort of stands up to them.
